Listen, alot of people are on the road all the time. Take me for example. I am on the road from 7am till 4pm most days delivering kids too and from school while also door dashing. Its a long freaking day in the car. Also all of my friends and family live about an hour or more one way away, so sometimes I have to get a little car crafty on the rituals.
Spell In A Jar
The easiest and my favorite option. I also make and sell these! You dont always need candles and a giant salt circle and 400 crystals to have a ritual. Sometimes a ritual is just you and your intention sitting in silence or a soft whisper. You can even have a ritual while screaming a full blown jam session. If you can, make a small intention jar in advance, or even a satchel. While stopped on your long drive close your eyes for a moment, WHILE IN PARK, and focus your intention into the jar. Say it out loud if you have to. To make it more ambient, play a whimsical playlist or your favorite song that vibes with the intention you are trying to lay out. Boom all done. Simple as that. You can even hold it to yourself and whisper your intention while driving if stopping isnt an option, but stay focused on your safety on the road. Not everything has to be intricate.
Travel Altar
Alot of witches in the closet are familiar with this one. Having a small “Travel Altar” with you on the go may help with rituals as well. Mine has a small candle, some salt, a few sheets of parchment paper and a pen with a lighter. Super simple. If you have time to stop for even five minutes at a park or somewhere (not private property) stop and set out your candle. Write your intention down, and burn it. Make sure when you are done to be respectful of nature and clean up any mess you leave. BOOM. SO EASY! There was your incredibly beautiful ritual on the go. Add a little background music playing from an open window of your car if its close enough. BOOM AMBIANCE!
Nothing At All
You dont need anything. Seriously. Just speak your intention. Speak affirmations. Listen to a witchy vibey song. You literally DONT NEED ANYTHING to practice your craft. Just be. Be natural and be you.
