Spiritual Guilt

Something I talk about ALOT that I don’t think enough people understand or talk about. The never ending feeling of being called to practice but never getting it done. Drowning in house work, children’s schedules, and trying to find you time, doesnt leave a whole lot of time for practicing the craft. There are a few little secrets I will let you in on though.

What is Practicing Witchcraft?

You see, you come into contact with more spiritual things EVERY single day than you expect. Stirring coffee, tea, or even cereal, brushing your hair, touching grass, taking a shower and SO many other things are gateways into spirituality. Saying affirmations while you brush your hair, stirring intention into your food and drink, rinsing away negative energy in the shower, there’s magic everywhere! Every day doesnt have to be the fanciest ritual, and intention can be spoken into almost anything.

Guilt in the Craft

As I will forever preach… YOUR CRAFT IS YOUR OWN. There is no rule book, no guidelines, not kicking you out for lack of participation. This is yours and yours alone. Feeling guilty over not being spiritual enough isn’t going to help aid your craft, it is going to skew it. Guilt is a negative that should never be attached to the craft.

Just take a few deep breaths and think about how you want things to go. Work daily towards building it up and if that doesnt work then who cares? We arnt all out here battling to become witch goddess of the century okay? Work at your own pace. You have your own battles you dont speak on to work through. Quit comparing yourself to the perfect instagram witch.
